Context

Lantern.ai is a fast-growing AI platform expanding its product suite.

The challenge

As products expanded, UX inconsistencies and accessibility gaps began slowing alignment across teams. Design needed to evolve from execution to leadership.

My role and impact

As product design lead, I defined UX direction across multiple AI products while managing and mentoring a team of four designers. I shifted design conversations from feature-level decisions to ecosystem-wide coherence, ensuring long-term consistency across the platform.

I introduced the Lux design system, establishing shared components, accessibility standards, and interaction principles that support scalable growth. Alongside system-building, I improved core user journeys and strengthened collaboration between design, product, and engineering.

This work created a stronger design foundation supporting multi-product expansion and improved organisational alignment during a period of rapid change.
