The challenge
The product needed to be simple, respectful, and accessible for users experiencing cognitive decline.
My role and impact
I led interaction and interface design, working from research insights to simplify navigation and reduce cognitive friction. Through iterative testing, I refined core interactions to ensure clarity under constraint.
I prioritised dignity and emotional sensitivity in the design, ensuring tone, layout, and functionality supported independence rather than dependency.
The final product delivered a carefully considered experience tailored to a vulnerable demographic while meeting research and organisational objectives.
